He is a mutant with retractable claws, enhanced senses, and accelerated healing powers, which he gained after a traumatic childhood incident that led to the activation of his mutation. Wolverine's early life was marked by tragedy when he witnessed his father's death and subsequently killed the man responsible using his newly discovered powers. These events led him to a life of wandering. He was eventually captured and experimented on by a secretive government program known as Weapon X, where his bone claws were coated with the indestructible metal adamantium to create a nearly invulnerable weapon. Throughout his existence, he has been a member of various teams such as the X-Men and the Avengers, often characterized by his rough exterior and gruff demeanor, masking a deep sense of honor and loyalty. Wolverine has appeared in numerous comic series, films, and animated shows since his debut in the 1974 issue of 'The Incredible Hulk.'
