Elsa was born as the elder princess of the Kingdom of Arendelle, along with her sister Anna. They were very close during their childhood until an accident involving Elsa's ice powers left Anna injured. This led to Elsa being isolated from Anna and others to keep her powers a secret. After their parents' tragic death, Elsa becomes queen and struggles to hide her abilities. When her powers are accidentally revealed during her coronation, she flees to the mountains, embracing her magic but inadvertently plunging Arendelle into eternal winter. It is only through the love and bravery of her sister that she learns to control her powers and uses them for good, bringing back summer. Over time, Elsa evolves from a girl who fears her powers to a queen who embraces them in order to protect her kingdom and family.
